HOW'D WE GET HERE?
The Story of Salty Snout
Nice to meet you. I'm Amanda, the human behind all the pets.
Â
Before starting Salty Snout, I spent a decade advising nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations on how to create exceptional experiences for the people they serve. And somewhere along the way, I realized there was an opportunity to bring that same level of thoughtfulness, professionalism, and service to pet care in my local community.
Â
I built Salty Snout around the philosophy that truly exceptional pet care is about so much more than checking off a list of to-dos when you get to a client's home. For Salty Snout, pet care is not a hobby, and it's not a favor we do for our neighbors every now and then. It's a premium service, crafted and delivered with care, for the kind of people who want their pets to be treated like the family members we know they are. We believe every visit should be both enriching for your pet and effortless for you as a client, and that's the standard we'll strive to meet every single time.

If you share this belief, I hope you'll let Salty Snout take care of your pets soon!

xoxo
Amanda

You may notice another face around Salty Snout. That's Cadillac - unofficial CFO (Chief Fun Officer, he's terrible with money.).
Â
For friendly, social dogs who enjoy companionship, Cadillac may join select visits after a successful introduction. (Participation is always optional and based on compatibility.)
The Salty Snout EXperience:
Why You Can Feel Confident
Our Principles
Customization
No two pets are the same. We'll get to know your pet's unique needs - and their unique quirks (no, we won't judge) - and tailor our visits accordingly.
Consistency
We'll show up when we say we will, do the things we'll say we'll do, and we'll provide the most intentional care possible.
Communication
We'll strive to help you feel as connected to your pet as possible through visit reports and photo updates.Â
